Criticism from a previous buyer of this CD:
If the GDR had continued to exist, the trio "Leistner, Weiser & Dix" would have risen quite quickly to national fame. Drummer Wolfram Dix, who was voted "Best Jazz Drummer of the GDR" by readers of the "Berliner Jazzblatt" in 1989, sought with this cooperation to make contact with a style of music in which he had previously not been able to make a name for himself. This resulted in an important document of the stylistic search, the result of which is a somewhat brittle fusion jazz, which reflects the previous, quite different playing experiences of the three musicians as well as showing good approaches to synthesis. An absolute must for all collectors interested in music history!
We have nothing to add to this.
